Community

The team at Ray White Sherwood believes in the community, and we are passionate about the local area that we live, work and play in. From grass root initiatives to strategic partnerships, we are committed to supporting those that affect the communities around us. We believe it is our responsibility to work together to make a difference in the local community.

As an office, we pride ourselves on supporting various local community groups and schools with in-house volunteering and the sponsorship of school fetes, trivia nights, sporting and charity events.  As many of us are members of the local community, it is only fitting to give something back to those around us that have been instrumental in enabling us to get to where we are today.

We are very proud and honoured to be involved with the following community groups and organisations:

  • Sherwood State School
  • Graceville State School
  • St Aidan’s Anglican Girls School
  • Brisbane Boys College
  • Taylor Bridge Rugby Club
  • Graceville Rugby League Club
  • Chelmer Station Community Kindergarten
  • Staverton Kindy
  • Melanoma Institute of Australia
  • Corinda Ladies Bowls Club
  • Sherwood Scout Group
  • South West United Women’s Hockey Club
  • Ambrose Treacy College AFL Club
  • Cancer Council World’s Biggest Morning Tea
  • Down Syndrome Swimming Australia
  • A Little Ray of Giving

If you have an upcoming community event, a great story about the area, a historical photo to share, even just a feel good story of the local spirit of this community, we want to hear about it and would love the opportunity to share it and help where we can. To us, that’s what the community is all about. Please drop us a line, call us on 3379 3535 or better still, drop in … we are always here to help. Ray White Sherwood not only sells property, we sell the lifestyle and community that we are so very passionate about.  Keep up-to-date with current community news and events that we are involved in right here or by following us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/raywhitesherwood.

We will continue to support both local groups and charities in the years to come and value the importance of maintaining a strong sense of community in the area.
