SHERWOOD ARBORETUM 90TH ANNIVERSARY

By Mirelle Macdonald
One of Brisbane’s most iconic green spaces, the Sherwood Arboretum, is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.
While we know and love it as a wonderful local park, it is one of Brisbane’s most unique and valuable botanical treasures, home to some of Queensland’s rarest native trees and shrubs.
Feel free to join the local community on Saturday between 8.30am and 10.00am to celebrate this great milestone in our community. There are a great range of activities including a fun run, tree planting and community  BBQ to enjoy.
Where: Jolimont Street, Sherwood
When: Saturday 21 March, 2015
