TOP AGENT OPENS NEW BUSINESS IN SHERWOOD

By Mirelle Macdonald

Leading agents in Brisbane’s Western suburbs, the Cameron Crouch Property team have announced the opening of Ray White Sherwood.

Director, Cameron Crouch, says becoming a business owner has been a goal since he began in real estate in 2007.

“Particularly in the last 12 months our business has grown substantially. In January this year, my plan was to open an office in three to five years, and within six months of that we were bursting at the seams.

“Now that the new office doors are open, it’s business as usual. With the addition of well respected agent Sharon King joining our team, we anticipate further growth in the coming months,” Cameron said.

The team, who have worked within the Ray White network since 2010, has developed over the years with one core motto: they sell specifically in their local area.

“We often have to refer listings to fellow agencies, because as a business we made the decision to only sell in our local area. We want our local communities to know that we are 100 per cent committed to the area,” Cameron explains.

With Cameron heading up the sales team and long term colleague, Aimee Carding, establishing a property management department, Ray White Sherwood is determined to offer the best to both clients and employees.

“We have a great team behind us which will continue to grow. We’re keeping our existing data model for sales and Aimee will be starting up our property management team and growing a rent roll organically. Although we’ll have the two divisions our team will very much operate as one.”

Cameron says the real estate market in Brisbane’s west is consistent, with around seven per cent of properties selling each year.

“The area is diverse with entry level homes through to the million dollar waterfront properties. With our team being area specific, not price specific, we have agents who specialise in all property types and price brackets.

For the Ray White Group, Cameron and his team exemplify the Group’s values.

“We are delighted that, through the guidance of the Ray White Group and support of important personalities throughout Cameron’s career, he and his team are now embarking on something of real excitement within the Group.

“Their previous success ensures us of their future success in supporting and delivering his clients’ needs. Cameron and his team are very focused on communication and information to assist people with their real estate needs, not just to achieve ambitions but to help with decisions,” said Tony Warland, Ray White Queensland CEO.

Nominated as a finalist for the REIQ residential sales person of the year, Cameron says the future is looking bright.

“We have some really exciting things coming up including selling the biggest development in the western suburbs. We’re proud to be Ray White Sherwood.”
