BANDS IN THE PARK – OXLEY

The Sherwood 7 (Oxley) Neighbourhood Watch, assisted through the Lord Mayor’s Suburban Initiative Fund, is hosting a Bands in the Park event on Sunday 15th March 2015 at Nixon Park, Oxley Road, Oxley, commencing at 2pm. The park is looking great and the band Still Standing will perform rock, blues and soul from the late 60’s to the 80’s. Enjoy your music!!! If you do, there isn’t a nicer way to spend your Sunday afternoon. Bring along a blanket or a chair, as well as your dancing shoes if you wish.

The Oxley NHW will have drinks available, along with a sausage sizzle, and there will be a coffee van to ensure that you can have your afternoon coffee fix. Free face painting will be available for the kids and has been very popular at the event in previous years.

The Centenary Crime Prevention Unit will be there to answer all of your NHW questions and to talk to you about NHWQ blogs.
