The Ray White Sherwood In-Room Auctions, held at the Queensland Tennis Centre on the 29th March, have been hailed a success drawing a strong crowd of 80 people for the offering of 8 local properties.
Attendees were treated to some spirited bidding, which resulted in seven of the eight properties being sold. This is a success rate of 87.5%, well above the Brisbane average of 47%.
Auctioneer Haesley Cush and Ray White Sherwood’s principal Cameron Crouch were both pleased with the Auction results and the number of interested parties who attended on the night, despite the rainy weather brought about by Cyclone Debbie.
“It’s great to see buyer confidence in the local market, which made for some strong bidding and great outcomes for our buyers and sellers,” Cameron said. “Interest prior to the Auction was enormous, with open houses attracting a good number of buyer interest which culminated in great results.”
Congratulations to all who purchased and sold their properties on the night and a big thank you to everyone that came along – We hope you had a great night.
The next Ray White Sherwood In-Room Auctions are scheduled for 5.30pm Wednesday 14th June. Bookings are now being taken, so if you are thinking of selling your property, call the office on 07 3379 3535.
